Hi, my name is Alice Bowmaker!

I have been a personal trainer for 9 years, and I have also been teaching yoga for 8 years.

But most importantly, I have been on a long journey since my twenties, to heal my relationship with my body and my relationship with food.

Along the way I have gathered many tools, many moments of powerful revelation and a big desire to help other women to come back in harmony with themselves and how they experience their lives.



PERFECT FOR those who feel uncomfortable in their bodies, are in the yoyo dieting cycle hell, are inconsistent with their exercise, have lost trust in their bodies, or would like to explore new ways of incorporating health practices into their lives .

This holistic workshop will uncover some of the most important, and yet underrated and under used techniques that myself and many other women use to ensure they maintain an easeful and joyful relationship with their bodies, exercise and food!

It will bring you out of self-doubt and self-sabotage and back into harmony and wholeness!

THE HOW

BREATH-WORK

In order for us to make good desicions, we in ourselves need to feel relaxed and centered, and not just making impulsive stress based choices, i.e. binging on alcohol, ice cream or netflix.

JOURNALLING

We also need to know what is actually going on within us, our desires, our triggers and what needs to change in our lives.

MENSTRUAL/MOON CYCLE AWARENESS

Suitable for the both menstruating, and those currently not or no longer menstruation.

This is a very interesting one, taking back our cyclical nature through a consciousness approach to eating, exercising, and managing our lives cyclical (very different from yo-yo dieting)

HOW TO TAKE A BREAK

I know, it’s crazy that we need help learning how to pause. But we live in an impulsive society and we get to the end of the day totally disconnected from our bodies, and therefore unmotivated to nourish it, i.e. eating junk food, drinking, avoiding exercise.


DIFFERENT METHODS OF ENERGY RECHARGE

We will explore the senses and how to incorporate more sensuality into our life. We often lack imagination when we are tired, and so we think the only option is to eat more or move less. This part will show us how much more pleasure and energy we can get from engaging in the other senses.
